Ohio — A Pilates studio and a gym are the latest tenants signed for the mixed-use section of Valor Acres at Brecksville and Miller roads
Atoned, a Pilates studio in Stow, will open a second location on Hruby Street in Valor Acres
“We’re hoping to open in the late fall,” Mercedes Delusive, founder of Atoned, told cleveland.com on Tuesday (July 28)
Atoned will occupy Building G, consisting of a three-level parking garage on top of ground-floor businesses
Club Valor, a gym, will fill a space next to Atoned, Emily Scheffler — development associate with DiGeronimo Cos., which is building Valor Acres — told the Brecksville Planning Commission July 9
Scheffler did not share much information about Club Valor at the July 9 meeting. City officials knew little about the business
The commission approved the Atoned and Club Valor storefronts. However, DiGeronimo may have to return to the commission for approval of the businesses themselves
Earlier this month, city Engineer Gerry Wise said construction of Building G was close to completion
A city “safety station” will also occupy Building G. Police and/or paramedics will sometimes be on duty in the station
“What the safety station coverage will look like has not been finalized,” Mayor Daryl Kingston told cleveland.com Monday (July 27)
“I can say that since there wasn’t overnight accommodations built into the final floor plans (of the safety station) that there won’t be 24/7 coverage like we have at our fire station, for example,” Kingston said
Atoned, according to its website, is a boutique fitness and wellness studio that teaches high-intensity Pilates
It also offers electrical muscle stimulation training and contains infrared saunas
