Trouw Nutrition to present poultry research at WPC 2026
Trouw Nutrition will present new poultry nutrition research at the World’s Poultry Congress 2026 in Toronto, highlighting studies on nutrient utilisation, predictive modelling and PhytoComplex innovations. The presentations will cover topics including calcium and phosphorus nutrition, gut health, broiler performance and precision feeding strategies. The company will also host a scientific event focused on nutritional modelling, trace minerals and PhytoComplex solutions for improving poultry performance and resilience.
Anitox launches broiler nutrition technology
Anitox has launched AvrX Prime, a new monoglyceride technology designed to support early intestinal development and performance consistency in broiler chickens. Unveiled at the World’s Poultry Congress and the Poultry Science Association Annual Meeting, the product combines short and medium-chain monoglycerides to support gastrointestinal function and nutrient utilisation from the earliest stages of life
Moba reports strong order intake and launches Magna
Moba reported continued strong customer confidence in the second quarter of 2026, with healthy demand for its egg grading and processing solutions despite a more normalised order pattern compared with the previous quarter. The company also used VIV Europe 2026 to launch Magna, its next-generation egg grading platform for the European market. Magna combines advanced vision technology, smart controls and data-driven insights to improve hygiene, efficiency and production management, attracting strong customer interest at the event.
Novus launches the Raw Material Compendium
Novus has launched its Raw Material Compendium, a digital platform designed to support more informed, data-driven feed formulation strategies. The platform provides nutritionists and feed formulators with a centralised reacross the most relevant databases, assess internal ingredient data, and explore alternative raw materials
Evonik strengthens global MetAmino production network
Evonik has completed the backward integration of its MetAmino (DL-methionine) production hub in Mobile, Alabama, by adding on-site production of the key intermediate methyl mercaptan. The investment completes the company’s fully integrated global methionine production network across Europe, Asia and the Americas
DSM-Firmenich brings Verax analytics platform in-house
DSM-Firmenich Animal Nutrition & Health has acquired full ownership of the Verax predictive farm analytics platform from InsideTracker, bringing the AI-driven animal health application in-house after 7 years of collaboration. Verax, already deployed globally, uses blood-based biomarkers to provide early warnings of animal health issues. The acquisition will allow DSM-Firmenich to integrate the platform into its Precision Services portfolio
Veng System rebrands as RIKA Climate
Veng System has changed its name to RIKA Climate as part of a new strategy to strengthen its position in ventilation and microclimate solutions for pig and poultry production. The company will focus on simplifying its product portfolio, advancing digitalisation and developing intelligent climate control systems. RIKA Climate also plans to unveil a new product platform at EuroTier 2026, with an increased emphasis on the poultry sector
Catalina launches nitrite-free meat ingredient
Catalina Food Solutions has launched Nitrite-Free. For Real, a natural ingredient designed to help meat processors produce nitrite-free products with cleaner labels. The company says the ingredient provides an alternative to conventional and vegetable-derived nitrite curing systems, amid growing consumer demand for more natural products and increasing regulatory scrutiny of nitrite use and related labelling claims
Alltech publishes 2025 sustainability report
Alltech has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, highlighting progress in reducing environmental impact, advancing scientific research and supporting sustainable agriculture. Among the achievements, the animal nutrition company reported completing 47 energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, expanding zero-waste-to-landfill practices to 7 facilities and increasing water reuse by more than 55%
Novus appoints hatchability specialist
Novus has appointed Kelly Sweeney as senior technical services manager for its North American poultry team. Based in the southeastern US, Sweeney will support customers with hatchery and breeder management, nutrition and production practices to improve bird performance and hatchability. She joins the company from Cobb Vantress, where she held several hatchery technical and operational roles
