Double Lives of Suburban Wives' Bri Gets Costars Kicked Out Of Gym Over Shocking Discovery
    • Cast members Bri, Tammy, and Macy from TLC’s ‘Double Lives of Suburban Wives’ were asked to leave a gym after staff recognized Bri from her online adult content.
    • The incident left the women confronting the consequences of their online identities colliding with everyday life, making one cast member reconsider coming out of hiding.
    • The new TLC series explores the fallout of privacy disappearing quickly, as well as the judgment and relationship pressures faced by couples balancing marriage, parenting, suburban life, and careers in adult content creation.

Double Lives of Suburban Wives is wasting no time putting its cast’s private lives into very public situations. Bri, Tammy, and Macy expected a routine workout, but their gym visit took an uncomfortable turn once staff started asking questions

The moment left the women confronting exactly what can happen when their online identities collide with everyday life. For one cast member, the experience also made coming out of hiding suddenly feel much more complicated

TLC’s ‘Double Lives of Suburban Wives’ cast members Bri, Tammy and Macy are asked to leave a gym after staff recognize Bri from her online adult content

Brianna, Tammy, and Macy were filming at a local gym when production informed them that staff had looked up Brianna online and wanted the group to leave, according to an exclusive clip obtained by People

“So, just so you know, they googled Brianna, and they’re kicking us out,” a member of the production team told the women in the clip. The staffer added that the gym wanted “no part of this” as the group gathered their belongings

The incident appeared to catch all three women off guard. Tammy later questioned the decision in a confessional, pointing out that they had not been creating, promoting or distributing adult content while inside the gym

For Macy, the encounter hit differently. She had just been explaining that she spent three years keeping her adult-content work hidden and was beginning to feel ready to live more openly. Being asked to leave made her reconsider what that could mean outside the show

“Getting kicked out of the gym is making me realize that coming out isn’t just about telling the truth,” Macy said. She added that she feared being judged and treated differently once people knew about that part of her life

Brianna’s experience had already shown how quickly that privacy can disappear. Tammy said someone previously discovered Brianna’s content and spread it publicly. The new TLC series will explore the fallout that followed, including the effect the exposure had on her former teaching career

Double Lives of Suburban Wives follows six St. Louis-area couples balancing marriage, parenting and suburban life with careers creating adult content. TLC says the series will examine the judgment and relationship pressures that come with keeping those worlds separate

The premise fits into TLC’s continued interest in unconventional relationships and family structures. The network previously introduced viewers to the four-person relationship at the center of Polyfamily, while reality TV has also increasingly addressed the complications cast members face when adult-content careers become part of their storylines

TELL US: WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT BRI, TAMMY AND MACY BEING ASKED TO LEAVE THE GYM?
