Gunna’s fitness journey has been amazing to watch. Men’s Health took a look inside the rap star’s house to see what his food and workout habits look like at home. The Atlanta native revealed how his eating habits have changed as he’s gotten more health-conscious.

He shows what’s in his fridge, and it’s a good indicator of how to eat healthy while enjoying what you love.

“My go-to items that I always have in my fridge are definitely my juices,“ Gunna shared. “They’re good for your skin. It’s all greens. And grapes, fruits–seeded grapes, to be precise. Ginger shots [to] keep the inflammation down. My Protein–salmon. And also, I have my supplements, Symbiotica.”

Gunna says that he’s become more informed about healthy eating as part of his overall push into fitness and wellness.

“My diet is just getting better because I’m learning more as I started doing my fitness,” he explained. “I didn’t know what I was doing in the beginning, but as I continue to work out, continue to learn fitness, I continue to work on my diet.”

“After the gym, I go get some eggs, some steak and maybe through the day I might have some fruit, some grapes, apples–just to hold me off before I eat dinner. Then I might have steak and spinach and brussels sprouts. I love brussels sprouts.”

Gunna made sure to remind everyone he’s a Southerner–so don’t skimp on the flavor

“I’m from Atlanta,” he said with a grin. “I like my brussels sprouts seasoned.”

So what does Gunna avoid eating?

“I hate cabbage,” he says. “My mom used to make me eat it as a kid, and I didn’t like it. So now I’m just, like, scarred.”

As far as indulgences go, Gunna admits he has a sweet tooth. But he approaches his cravings a certain way to minimize bad habits.

“I like sweets,” he revealed. “My go-to comfort food is not in my refrigerator here because it’s not good for you. I try to keep [it] out of the kitchen, so I have to go out to a restaurant to get it.”
