XXL Nutrition collaborates with Dutch vegetable legend HAK for its nutritious Protein Soup

Soup is not exactly a common sight in sports nutrition, even with functional foods now stretching far beyond bars and shakes. That makes Protein Soup an especially creative release for XXL Nutrition, the Dutch powerhouse, which has a habit of bringing higher-protein foods into mainstream retailers. It was created in collaboration with the vegetable company HAK, with each serving of the innovation designed to be a complete, filling meal

The majority of XXL Nutrition’s intriguing new Protein Soup is made up of vegetables and legumes, which is fitting with HAK as a major partner on the product. Lupin, fava bean, and yellow pea proteins are in there to pump up the protein and deliver on the name, with 23g of protein per pack. The carbohydrates come out at almost double that, with 42g, just over 10g of that sugar, about 7g of fat, and around 350 calories across the two varieties

The two tastes available for XXL Nutrition’s newly released Protein Soup are both classics for the format in Sweet Potato Pumpkin and Tomato Lentil, both outlining what they center around right in their names. Both options of the vegetable-heavy collaboration are rolling into retailers before online, including the likes of Plus, Dirk van den Broek, and Jumbo supermarkets at around €4.70 (5.49 USD) per pack, with XXL’s own website following shortly
