A video of Michael Penix Jr. throwing at a workout got Falcons fans talking

The Atlanta Falcons are hoping quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is officially cleared for contact before training camp begins later this month. While he still has a few weeks to heal up, Penix was spotted throwing at a QB camp earlier this week and appeared to be moving fairly well
The “QB Stable” Instagram page posted a video compilation of Penix making five pin-point throws, including a couple on the move. The Falcons quarterback intends to meet with his doctor before training camp but previously stated he felt good to go
“I feel confident with everything,” said Penix after last month’s minicamp. “If it was up to me, I’d do 11-on-11 now.”
Tua Tagovailoa has held the health advantage up to this point, but all bets are off if Penix is cleared before training camp begins. We’ll have to wait and see what happens, however, it’s a good start for the third-year Falcons quarterback
