Alpha Fit Club, a New Jersey-based gym franchise, is set to open its first Connecticut site in Fairfield as it expands along the East Coast
Alpha Fit Club announced it is partnering with PLAE, a company that designs and manufactures integrated training environments, as part of its expansion plans

The first Connecticut location is expected to open in November in about 3,200 square feet of space at 2215 Black Rock Turnpike
“We love the community of Fairfield,” Alpha Fit Club founder and CEO Sam Tooley said. “I am a Fairfield U alum.”
The gym is expected to create 15 to 20 jobs, including about eight coaching positions
Founded in 2019, Alpha Fit Club has nearly two dozen locations in the Mid-Atlantic region and Florida. The company plans to have nearly 30 studios operating by the end of 2026, with additional openings planned throughout 2027

In addition to Fairfield, Alpha Fit Club plans to open locations in Westport and Darien.

PLAE designs and manufactures performance surfaces, racks and strength equipment used by professional sports organizations, collegiate athletic programs and Olympic training centers, according to the release
