Chartwells K12 is inviting students to get in the game of healthy eating this school year
The foodservice provider’s latest nutrition education program, Nutrition: Game On, combines storytelling, movement, taste tests, hands-on activities and interactive cafeteria experiences to educate young students on how to eat healthy
Each month this school year, elementary students at participating schools will participate in nutrition quests where they can earn collectible badges and interact with program characters Dani, Leo, Chef Sizzle, Hailey Harvest, Clara Curious, Mei Market, and Max Motion. As students complete each quest, they can also watch their progress on an interactive cafeteria game board

“Back-to-school is the perfect time to inspire healthy routines for students,” said Amy Shaffer, CEO of Chartwells K12, in a statement. “Every meal is an opportunity to spark curiosity. When students are excited to try a new recipe, taste a new ingredient, or explore flavors from around the world, nutrition becomes something they experience, not something they’re taught. Nutrition: Game On reflects our belief that the cafeteria is so much more than a place to eat. It’s where great food inspires discovery, confidence, and healthy habits to last a lifetime.”
Alongside the launch of Nutrition: Game On, Chartwells K12 is also welcoming students back to school this year withits latest limited time promotion Pizza Daze. The campaign, which runs from August 3 through November 1, transforms the cafeteria into a local pizza parlor
