City of Beaumont Public Health Department Earns National Preparedness Recognition
Beaumont, Texas(July 8, 2026)– The City of Beaumont Public Health Department has been recognized as a Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) agency by the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), earning national recognition for its commitment to emergency preparedness and public health planning
Project Public Health Ready is a nationally recognized program that measures a health department’s ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from public health emergencies. The designation recognizes agencies that meet rigorous national standards for emergency planning, workforce readiness, and continuous quality improvement
The Beaumont Public Health Department has earned this recognition through 2030, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to protecting the health and safety of Beaumont residents during public health emergencies and disasters
