Fall is shaping up to be an exciting season at Dilworth Park as the Center City District rolls out a diverse lineup of free fitness classes, pickleball, local markets and live entertainment in the heart of Philadelphia

Located just steps from City Hall, Dilworth Park continues to serve as one of Center City’s most popular gathering places, offering residents and visitors a variety of ways to stay active, support local businesses and enjoy public programming throughout the fall season

One of the park’s most popular recurring programs, Center City Fit presented by Rothman Orthopaedics, continues every Tuesday evening through October 6. Beginning at 6 p.m., participants of all ages and fitness levels are invited to join free outdoor Zumba® classes led by professional instructors from City Fitness. The weekly workouts provide a fun and energetic way to stay active while enjoying the outdoors in the center of Philadelphia

Another exciting addition this fall is CityPickle, which will bring two professional-grade pickleball courts to Dilworth Park from September 2 through October 18. As pickleball continues to grow in popularity across the country, players will have the opportunity to enjoy the sport in one of Philadelphia’s most recognizable public spaces. Court reservations will become available beginning August 26

Shoppers looking to support local makers will want to mark their calendars for the return of the Made in Philadelphia Market. Taking place September 4 through September 6, the market will feature more than 50 local artisans and small businesses offering everything from handmade jewelry and candles to baked goods, skincare products and unique gifts. The event transforms the park into a vibrant outdoor marketplace celebrating Philadelphia’s creative community

The fall festivities continue with the Made in Philadelphia Fall Fest from October 9 through October 11. In addition to the artisan market, visitors can enjoy a seasonal beer garden featuring offerings from Maker’s Mark® and Sam Adams. Family-friendly activities, games, live entertainment and free apple cider pressing while supplies last will add to the festive autumn atmosphere

Arts and culture also take center stage this season. On October 1 at 5:30 p.m., Dilworth Park will host a special edition of Arts on Center Stage featuring performances by members of the School of Philadelphia Ballet and Philadelphia Ballet II. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs and enjoy an evening of dance on the NRG Pitch at the Albert M. Greenfield Lawn

Beyond special events, Dilworth Park remains a destination for dining and relaxation. The Dilworth Park Café serves coffee, breakfast sandwiches and sweet treats daily, while The Patio offers sandwiches, wraps and salads during the day. In the evening, guests 21 and older can unwind with cocktails, wine and beer in the outdoor setting

Visitors can also continue to enjoy one of the park’s signature attractions: the dancing fountains. The fountains will remain open daily through October 18, providing a favorite spot for families and visitors exploring Center City

With free fitness classes, pickleball, artisan shopping, live performances and seasonal celebrations, Dilworth Park is offering something for everyone this fall. Whether you’re looking for an active evening workout, a weekend shopping trip or a family-friendly autumn outing, the park’s packed schedule makes it a destination worth visiting throughout the season

As Philadelphia transitions into cooler weather, Dilworth Park’s fall programming provides the perfect opportunity to experience community, culture and recreation in the heart of Center City
