The Monsters, Inc.icon explained how quitting alcohol was a major part of the lifestyle overhaul that helped him shed the pounds, saying: “I don’t grill anymore because I don’t drink anymore. And that was a good excuse to get drunk and stand in front of something hot.”

Along with embracing a sober lifestyle, Goodman has reportedly followed the Mediterranean diet and adjusted how much he was eating. He previously credited “portion control” for his transformation, telling AARP magazine that it was a major change from his former tendency of “just shoving everything into my mouth.” We love how open he is!

It was life or death. It was time to stop.”
In a 2010 interview with People, Goodman revealed that his breaking point came when he was nearing 400 lbs. and could no longer handle looking at himself at such an unhealthy weight. “I just got tired, sick and tired of looking at myself,” he admitted, adding: “You’re shaving in the mirror, and you don’t want to look at yourself. It gets dangerous.”
