If you think healthy eating has to involve complicated recipes and hours in the kitchen, I have good news… it absolutely does not. Honestly, some of the healthiest eaters I know are just really good at making things easy
One of the best tricks is using convenience foods strategically. Things like:
- Pre-cut fruits and vegetables, Rotisserie chicken, Frozen vegetables, Microwaveable rice, Bagged salads
Those can all help you put together balanced meals in just a few minutes. I also tell people to stop thinking every meal has to be cooked from scratch. Sometimes ‘assemble, don’t cook’ is the better strategy
- A snack plate with cheese, fruit, nuts, and crackers, A wrap with deli turkey and a bagged salad, Greek yogurt with berries and cereal, Frozen meatballs with microwave rice and vegetables
Another helpful tip is keeping healthier foods visible and easy to grab. We tend to eat what’s convenient
Healthy eating doesn’t have to be perfect or fancy. Tiny upgrades and realistic habits usually work much better long term. For more tips, tricks and recipes head to fareway.com
