Fearne Cotton ‘riled up’ after being told off by Vatican guard for breaking strict rule
Fearne Cotton has revealed that she was told off by a guard at the Vatican after she broke a strict rule
Speaking on her Happy Place podcast, the 44-year-old recalled that during a recent trip to Italy, she was “desperate” to take a picture of The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo
“I got massively reprimanded, shouted at by a very burly Italian security guard, which should have freaked me out and made me go, ‘Oh god, I’m so sorry,’ but instead, I wanted to go, ‘F*** off!’”
Cotton said she was “so riled” after the incident, adding that she didn’t understand what the problem was
Visitors cannot take photos in the Sistine Chapel, as conservators cite that constant camera flashes can degrade the artworks
