The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has alerted the publicto a product sold at Costco
A notice published last week confirmed that Red’s Steak Cilantro and Lime Burritos were mislabeled and contain an undeclared allergen. Officials were notified about this issue after a customer noticed the problem
“The product contains egg, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label,” the notice elaborates. “FSIS is issuing this public health alert to ensure that consumers with allergies to egg products are aware that this product should not be consumed
“Arecallwas not requested because the affected product is no longer available for purchase.”
The products are three pounds, two ounces, and contain 10 individually wrapped burritos. They were also produced on June 19, 2026

Anyone who purchased these burritos are urged not to eat them, and to toss them away. They can also return the food to its place of purchase
