How to get free gym access during poor air quality

All Michigan Planet Fitness locations are offering free club access Thursday, July 16, through Sunday, July 19
All community members will be able to visit the locations for free without an obligation to join. Anyone looking to work out can walk in and sign in at the front desk. A waiver is required to workout in the facility, but not a credit card or down payment, a spokesperson told the Free Press Thursday morning
“We want to make sure those who normally exercise outdoors have a safe option to avoid unhealthy air quality levels,” said Sarah Wilson, director of marketing at with Impact Fitness Group, a Planet Fitness franchise division
Over 115 Planet Fitness gyms including all the Michigan ones and select gyms in Indiana and Ontario, Canada will have free access throughout the weekend
Planet Fitness has locations in Detroit, Taylor, Dearborn, Plymouth, Ann Arbor, Oak Park, Troy, Warren, Livonia and more
