    2026 USA Toyota National Championships

    • July 28-August 1, 2026
    • Irvine, CA — William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center
    • LCM (50 meters)
    • Meet Central
    • Pre-Scratch Psych Sheet

USA swimming has released the pre-scratch psych sheets for the 2026 Toyota National Championships. This will likely be the final meet of the season for the athletes not attending the Pan Pacific Championships next month, which includes Ilya Kharun, Anna Moesch, andIsabelle Stadden

There are some members of the Pan Pacs roster also on the psych sheet, likeGretchen Walsh and Kate Douglass, but most are not swimming a full schedule

This will be Ilya Kharun‘s <a href="https://healthylife7.com/florida-reports-first-2026-death-from-a-flesh/” title=”Florida reports first 2026 death from a 'flesh”>first U.S. Nationals since changing his sporting citizenship from Canada to the United States last October. He is entered in the 50 free, 50 fly, 100 fly, and 200 fly. He is the top seed in the 50 and 100 fly, and will be the 2nd seed in the 200 fly behind Luca Urlando

Urlando recently pulled out of the 2026 men’s NCAA Swimming Championships due to a “minor injury”. He ended up entering the TYR Pro Swim Series in Sacramento at the end of May, before scratching all of his events. He recently raced at the Clovis TYR Go Challenge in June, and swam the 200 free and 100 fly, though his 200 free finals time of 1:55.28 looks more like a 200 fly swim

Urlando is entered in the 200 free, 100 fly, and 200 fly. He is also a member of the Pan Pacs roster, so he might not choose to race all of the events he is entered in

Luka Mijatovicis entered in a full nine-event schedule for the meet: 100 free, 200 free, 400 free, 800 free, 1500 free, 200 back, 100 fly, 200 IM, 400 IM

Also in attendance is Hunter Armstrong, who recently competed at the Enhanced Games as a clean athlete. He won $375,000 after he won the men’s 50 backstroke and finished 2nd in the men’s 100 freestyle. He is entered in the 50 back next week along with the 50 free and 50 fly

On the women’s side, the full schedule athletes are highlighted byAnna Moesch andIsabelle Stadden, who both train at Virginia. Moesch and Stadden are unique cases this summer because they are having exceptional seasons, but since the Pan Pacs roster was chosen in 2025, they are not part of it, and this will likely be their final meet of the season

Moesch recently broke the American record in the women’s 100 freestyle, becoming the first American woman in history under 52 seconds in the event at 51.94. She is entered in the event in Irvine along with the 50 free, 200 free, 100 fly, and 200 IM

She could have incredibly steep competition in the 50 freestyle with Gretchen Walsh and Kate Douglass, who traded the world record back in june, entered ahead of her. Walsh and Douglass are both on the Pan Pacs roster

Walsh is only entered in the 50 free, while Douglass is entered in the 100 breast as well

Stadden is the top seed in the 50 back, 100 back, and 200 back, and withRegan Smith and Katharine Berkoff not attending the meet, she will be the favorite to win all three events
