While chatting with guest host Jelly Roll, Leslie discussed her husband Judd Apatow’s weight loss
Leslie and Judd have been married since 1997, and share two daughters: 28-year-old Maude and 23-year-old Iris
Like many other celebrities, Judd is currently taking the drug Ozempic, which — despite not being FDA-approved for weight management — has become incredibly popular in Hollywood for weight loss
Ozempic has been approved to help lower blood sugar levels in adults with Type 2 diabetes. It can also be prescribed to help reduce the risk of heart attacks or strokes in adults with heart disease. Unfortunately, the rise in people using the drug purely for weight loss has resulted in shortages among adults with diabetes

While it’s unknown whether or not Judd has diabetes, Leslie implied that he is using the drug for weight loss, mentioning that he’s on Ozempic after Jelly Roll brought up the subject of losing weight. “He’s on Ozempic. He likes to talk about [it],” she began, before revealing that Judd has actually gained weight since taking the drug
“He has gained like 15 lbs in four years,” she said
Explaining why, Leslie continued, “He’s on the highest dose, and he likes to outrun the feeling that…Ozempic gives you to stop eating. He likes to override it or outrun it.”

A visibly confused Jelly Roll then asked, “He’s overeating Ozempic?” to which Leslie laughed and replied, “He’s very proud of the fact that the pharmaceutical companies don’t have control over him.”
Reacting to the exchange, several perplexed viewers were left confused over why Judd is seemingly taking the drug for weight loss, only to repeatedly attempt to “override” it. “There goes rich ppl being weird again,” one Instagram comment read, while someone else questioned, “So why is he taking it?”
“There are people who can’t afford it who need it, but yes please explain how he takes it just for fun,” one person wrote. Another user on X echoed, “So diabetics have to pay double while these people flex.”

“We are watching celebrities become dangerously thin, but this is a flex or a funny joke?” someone wrote, while one more user added, “Even the likable celebrities seem awful lately.”
