Motsi Mabuse reveals lifestyle changes ahead of Strictly return

Motsi Mabuse on why she doesn’t want sister Oti to be Strictly host
    • Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse made significant lifestyle changes after a health check-up found high cortisol levels and inflammation. Tests also concluded she was at risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.
    • “My sister [Phemelo] is very much into training – Ironmans, marathons, swimming – so I knew she was the right person to get motivation from,” she told Women’s Health.
    • Following advice from Phemelo, Mabuse started with outside walks before progressing to strength training and 60-minute incline walking sessions.
    • Mabuse will return to the Strictly judging panel next month alongside Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, and Anton DuBeke for the 24th series.
    • The new series features a freshly confirmed celebrity line-up alongside new hosts Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe taking over from Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
