My 3000lb Family star Casey King is virtually unrecognizable after dropping more than half his body weight and going under the knife
The reality TV personality was so severely overweight during filming that he had no choice but to wash himself in an outdoor trough – but he’s since achieved a remarkable physical transformation, shedding nearly 600 pounds
“Because I’m a bigger guy with, like, folds and flaps, I have to move around almost like a pig in a way, wallow, and roll over to get the back of my legs. I have to lift up literal pieces of skin. It’s just a seriously difficult process,” he once explained
The TLC star revealed that after being unable to find clothing in his size, he’d spend his days sitting around without clothes on, eating and gaming. On the show, the then-34-year-old admitted: “I’ll just eat until I’m dead, probably.”

Casey admitted: “I never thought that at 34 I’d be living with my father and I’d have no job, have no real money and just be playing video games all day and eating.”, reports the Daily Star
However, Casey has now completely overhauled his appearance after having bariatric surgery to reduce the size of his stomach, combined with following a rigorous diet and exercise program. His Instagram profile currently shows he weighs 245 pounds, which is just 20 pounds shy of his target of 225 pounds
In recent weeks, he also underwent skin removal surgery to eliminate 20 pounds of excess tissue from his abdomen, arms, and lower back. In a recent video, he reassured followers that his recovery was going well, stating, “I feel good. Everything looks good.”
Back in December 2024, he shared: “I’m happier than I ever have been, and I’ve felt more growth as a person than most do in a few years. I’m surrounded by love and have some sort of a path ahead of me (that still needs to be figured out somewhat).”
He continued: “I really don’t know how I made it this far, I really thought at one time I’d be dead before 40, and now at 40 I’m in close to the best health of my life….. kinda #weird tbh.”
Additional photos showed Casey flaunting his slimmed-down physique in a sharp white shirt and red tie while posing alongside friends, before switching into shorts and a tennis polo shirt for a <a href="https://healthylife7.com/home-workout-trend-boosts-fitness-equipment-sales/” title=”Home workout trend boosts fitness equipment sales”>workout session
In a heartfelt caption shared with his followers in January 2023, Casey wrote: “Been a good 2022 and I hope to have a better 2023. Many resolutions and many plans for the future

“These pictures represent the good and the bad moments of the year. It’s been a ride for sure, I’m glad I’m here to experience it all and have the opportunity to continue making memories with my friends and family.”
Fans were absolutely floored by his incredible transformation, with one commenting: “4 years ago: I’ll just eat until I’m dead. Now: I’ll just be healthy forever!” Another fan echoed: “You are an icon, brother. Keep it up, you look great!” A third admirer chimed in: “Incredible transformation, gives me hope! Well done!
“You should be so damn proud of yourself cause I know I am. Keep grinding,” someone else encouraged
