Nigeria’s nutrition workforce is set to receive a career boost as CWR Academy moves to equip over 300 students and professionals with practical workplace and consulting skills

The academy will hold the maiden Consulting With Results Experience on August 15, 2026, inIkeja, Lagos

The programme, organised by YourDietBoy Ltd. through its professional development arm, seeks to close the gap between academic training and professional practice in the nutrition sector

It targets nutrition students, interns, early-career professionals, practising nutritionists and dietitians from across the country

Participants will receive training in consulting, leadership, communication, entrepreneurship, career development and personal branding

The initiative comes amid concerns that many nutrition professionals enter the workforce with technical knowledge but lack the practical skills needed to build sustainable careers and explore emerging opportunities in the health sector

The Founder of YourDietBoy Ltd. and convener of the programme, Fiyinfoluwa Odukoya, said the initiative was created to prepare nutrition professionals for the realities of practice

Odukoya said, “Nutrition professionals are trained to improve lives, yet many begin their careers without the practical tools needed to build sustainable careers, create opportunities, communicate their value, or lead with confidence

“Consulting With Results was written to help bridge that gap.”

He explained that strengthening the capacity of nutrition professionals would also improve their contribution to public health and community development

“When nutrition professionals are equipped to lead, communicate effectively, and solve real problems, the benefits extend beyond individual careers to healthier communities and a stronger healthcare system

“That is the vision driving Consulting With Results,” he added

Odukoya described the programme as an investment in the future of nutrition practice in Nigeria rather than another professional gathering

“This is more than a book launch or another professional event. It is an investment in the future of our profession.
“We want attendees to leave with practical knowledge, meaningful professional relationships, and the confidence to create measurable impact wherever they serve,” he said

The one-day programme will feature career masterclasses, fireside conversations and networking sessions.
It will also include the official unveiling of Odukoya’s book, Consulting With Results

According to the organisers, the event is expected to become an annual platform for professional development within Nigeria’s nutrition sector
