US Classic
As the final qualifier to national championships, US Classic generated a lot of excitement. It was highlighted by five-star Reese Esponda (LSU, ‘27), who took the all-around title with a 54.900, while also placing first on floor and third on beam. Rising UCLA freshman, five-star Zoey Molomo, showed how well she has come back from injury to take third place with a 53.900. Coached by her Oklahoma coaches, five-star Izzy Stassi (Oklahoma, ‘26) placed an impressive fifth in the all-around and was runner-up on vault, bars, and floor. Five-star Tatum Drusch (LSU, ‘28) and five-star Simone Rose (Florida, ‘26) placed third on vault and bars, respectively.

Commonwealth Games
The Commonwealth Games begin this weekend, and many recruits will be competing. For Canada, the team will include five-star Gabrielle Black (Utah, ‘26), five-star Lia-Monica Fontaine (‘28), four-star Alyssa Guerrier Calixte (Georgia, ‘27), and four-star Lia Redick (LSU, ‘27). England’s team will include five-star Abigail Martin (‘26), Malta’s team will include four-star Sophie St. John (‘28), and Wales’s team will include four-star Jemima Taylor (‘27)
Commitments
Class of 2026
- Three-starKee Anne Cura, who is known for her exceptional bars work, is no longer committed to Cal.
- Four-starDaelin Diaz-Luongvisited Minnesota, indicating a decommitment from Penn State.
- Romanian elite and 2025 World Championships floor finalist Denisa Golgotă has committed to Cal. She is expected to have three years of eligibility.
- Four-starChristiane Popovich, who was previously committed to Minnesota in the class of 2025, has announced her commitment to Nebraska on scholarship.
- Four-starJessica Schlegel, who won bronze at Germany’s 2025 national championships, has committed to Michigan State on scholarship.
Class of 2027
- Three-starCarter Kempton, who was previously committed to Georgia, has now committed to Oregon State. She was state beam champion and state and regional floor runner-up.
- Three-starMia Minton, who was state all-around champion and regional bars runner-up, committed to Rutgers on scholarship.
