Springfield’s Department of Health and Human Services has received a $400,000 Public Excellence for Capacity Building grant that will be used to expand services for this fiscal year
“This is a new grant and I expect, hopefully, it will continue next year,” said Helen Caulton-Harris, commissioner of the department
The grant, which is being provided by the state Department of Public Health, will allow the city to hire an additional public health nurse, a contact tracing and disease inspector, expand environ<a href="https://healthylife7.com/us-commander-says-mental-health-a-priority-on-uss-lincoln/” title=”US commander says mental health a 'priority' on USS Lincoln”>mental and community health services and more, according to the grant report
The grant must be used before June 30. There are options for renewal through 2033, the report said
