Unofficial Suzuki Jimny Lifestyle Pickup Truck Doubles as a Camping Adventure Companion in CGI Land

Suzuki may be well known as both an automotive and motorcycle producer, but we all know that some fans either only see its four- or two-wheel qualities. Still, it’s pretty much present around the world, with one stark omission as far as automotive enthusiasts are concerned – the US automotive market.
The Japanese motorcycle and automobile producer withdrew its auto business from there in late 2012 when the local division filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and shut down a 27-year operation because of the severely unprofitable car sales business. The quick exit doesn’t mean there aren’t fans of the brand left in the United States, though
People love their motorcycles, scooters, and sometimes even their cars – especially if we’re talking about the iconic Suzuki Jimny. Although the model was never officially offered in the United States and only its predecessor, the Suzuki Samurai, was sold from 1985 to 1995, people are still positively obsessing over the small and cute yet boxy SUV
There’s no chance of seeing it around the Americas because of safety and emissions regulations plus tariffs, of course, but all these reasonings haven’t stopped people from falling in love with it. That’s mostly because it’s one of the most charming little vehicles money can buy right now, and even Mercedes-Benz is thinking about creating a smaller G-Class to compete in the field of tiny adventure SUVs
Anyway, back to the Suzuki Jimny, the little SUV quietly rejects modern SUV priorities and thrives across the markets where it’s still offered because of its rugged practicality, and it seems that even the members of the imaginative guild of digital car content creators dwelling across the parallel universes of vehicular CGI can’t resist its Japanese charm
Not long ago, Christopher Giroux, a virtual artist better known as ‘chrisgx13’ on social media, came up with a fresh idea for the popular Suzuki Jimny platform. By the way, this isn’t just an amateur pixel master – Giroux is a senior car designer at Ford Europe in Germany and owns a Mazda MX-5 Miata RF (ND), which means he’s both an enthusiast and connoisseur, not just a professional
His “what if” scenario implicates the return of the Suzuki Jimny on the Old Continent after the most recent loophole was closed, and the unofficial, hypothetical design project is actually cool enough for the Americas, too. His version is an all-electric Suzuki Jimny playing with the DNA of previous generations, taking inspiration from the “super cool” variants of the 1980s and 1990s while “trying to give it a modern twist.”
The new Suzuki Jimny morphs into a modern, practical, and versatile vehicle with various design possibilities – we’re shown both a two-door SUV and a two-door Ute, and now there’s even a camping variation. It bodes well with the innovation on the hood – a digital compass rotates to point out the cardinal direction while the vehicle moves. Cool or not?
