A Wrexham therapist has drawn on more than 25 years of working with clients struggling with anxiety, self-doubt and confidence issues for a new book exploring how the subconscious mind can influence people’s lives
Cat Williams, from Holt, has published The Stallion Mind, which explores how experiences learned earlier in life can contribute to issues including anxiety, imposter syndrome, perfectionism and procrastination
The transformational therapist, speaker and author uses the metaphor of a stallion throughout the book to explain how the subconscious mind works and ways people can change patterns of behaviour which may be holding them back
Cat said: “Our subconscious mind tries to keep us safe, but can hold us back, causing issues such as anxiety, imposter syndrome, perfectionism and procrastination
“The subconscious uses learned experiences, often from our childhood, to protect us. But those experiences are now no longer relevant to us
