
Zumbafest returns to Maple Ridge as ‘ultimate fitness party’

Maple Ridge residents are invited to join what the city calls “the ultimate fitness party” as Zumba Fest returns to Albion Community Centre (24165 104 Ave.) on Oct. 3
The high-energy, musical event will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and is open to participants ages 16 and older. Three certified Zumba instructors will lead group dance routines set to Latin, international and popular music
No dance experience is required. Participants can move at their own pace and modify movements to suit their comfort and fitness level
The city advises those participating to wear comfortable clothing and supportive footwear, and bring a water bottle and small towel. The first 35 people to register will receive an event T-shirt. Additional merchandise will be available for purchase at the event
