On Monday, wideout Davante Adams added even more kindling to the fire, posting the following on social media:
Donald, 35, has been retired since the 2023 season. But with the Rams loading up this offseason on the defensive side of the ball, adding Myles Garrett and cornerbacks Jaylen Watson and Trent McDuffie, the team is arguably the frontrunner to win the Super Bowl
Adding Donald to the middle of the defense would make them even scarier, though there are no guarantees he’d still play at an elite level after a two-year layoff. Still, his workouts are a pretty good indication that he’s still physically imposing, and even in his final season, he was a first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowler
In other words, the rest of the NFL has plenty of reasons to hope Donald continues to enjoy his retirement and decides against a return
