Everfit launched MacroSnap, an AI-powered meal scanner that integrates nutrition tracking directly into the coaching platform, marking the first step in Everfit’s vision to build a personal health operating system for the coaching industry, unifying nutrition, training, habits, and communication into a single AI powered, coach guided platform
MacroSnap uses AI to identify food items and calculate macronutrients from photos. Clients can snap a meal, scan a barcode, or photograph a nutrition label. Data appears on the coach’s dashboard in real time
Clients log meals over 80% of the time. MacroSnap users are 3.4 times more likely to log meals than those using traditional tracking methods, helping them build better eating habits
SAN FRANCISCO, July 15, 2026–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Everfit, the leading fitness and wellness coaching platform, launched MacroSnap, its AI-powered meal scanner and macro tracker for coaches and clients
MacroSnap uses Everfit’s artificial intelligence to identify food items and calculate macronutrients from photos. Clients can snap a meal, scan a product barcode, or submit a photo of a nutrition label to log macronutrients in seconds. For coaches, all client nutrition data appears in real time on their Everfit dashboard. For clients, nutrition tracking lives inside their coaching app rather than in a separate 3rd party tool
Nutrition tracking has traditionally lived outside the coaching relationship. Clients use external apps while coaches manually sync data and track information separately. The fragmentation adds friction and another hurdle to prevent clients from succeeding in their fitness goals. MacroSnap solves this by bringing nutrition tracking into the Everfit ecosystem. Coaches get real-time nutrition data from their clients directly through the Everfit app without managing external integrations
“Every company in fitness and wellness is trying to build some version of a personal health operating system right now, but most of them stop at generating insights and leave the consumer to figure out what to do with them. We think the real unlock is pairing that intelligence with a coach who turns it into action every day. MacroSnap is the first piece of connecting nutrition, training, habits, and communication into one place so coaches can do exactly that,” said Long Nguyen, Co-founder of Everfit.
The launch also reflects a broader shift taking place across health and wellness. People are gathering more signals about their bodies than ever before, sleep scores, workout metrics, lab panels, standalone food logs, but those signals rarely talk to each other and rarely tell someone what to actually do next. A wave of companies is now trying to solve this, an idea the industry has started calling a personal health operating system. Everfit believes the piece most of those efforts are missing is a person, not just more software. A coach who already knows a client’s history and goals can turn a single data point into a specific instruction that same day, something a dashboard alone struggles to do. MacroSnap brings nutrition into that coach led system, sitting alongside the training, habit, and communication data that already live together on the Everfit platform.
