“Human love was never meant to be the foundation of our identity. It can reflect God’s love, but it can’t replace it.” – Beth McCall, ‘Hello Peace’

MAGNOLIA, TX, July 28, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — Registered dietitian, sports nutrition specialist, and founder of ‘Purposeful Fueling’, Beth McCall invites women to trade fear, comparison, and shame for lasting peace in Christ in her debut book, Hello Peace. Through a deeply personal story woven together with biblical truth, practical reflection, and guided journaling prompts, McCall encourages readers to embrace God’s design for their lives and rediscover an identity rooted not in appearance or performance, but in His unchanging love.
In a culture that constantly tells women they must measure up to impossible standards, Hello Peace offers a refreshing invitation to lay down the exhausting pursuit of perfection and instead experience the freedom found in Christ. Drawing from her own journey through an eating disorder, pregnancy, and motherhood, McCall speaks with vulnerability and compassion to women who have ever struggled to feel at peace with their bodies or their identity.
“I’ve always felt closest to Scripture and to Jesus through journaling,” said McCall. “This book was born during a season of deep prayer while I was pregnant with my son. I was wrestling with fear, identity, and old wounds, and I sensed the Lord gently leading me to take what He was teaching me in private and turn it into something that could encourage other women. I knew these pages weren’t meant to stay in my journal. I believed God wanted to use them to bring hope to someone else.”
More than a memoir, Hello Peace serves as an interactive spiritual companion, inviting readers to reflect on their own stories through thoughtfully designed journaling prompts and Scripture-based application. McCall’s transparent storytelling creates space for women to process their own experiences while discovering that true peace is found not through changing themselves, but through allowing God to transform their hearts.
“This book doesn’t simply tell my story,” McCall explained. “It invites readers into their own. My hope is that every woman who opens these pages walks away knowing she is not alone, that she is deeply loved by God, and that He is not calling her back to who she used to be. He’s calling her forward into who she is becoming.”
As a registered dietitian and sports nutrition specialist with more than a decade of experience serving high school, collegiate, and professional athletes, McCall has spent her career helping others pursue physical wellness. Yet she believes lasting health extends far beyond nutrition and fitness.
“Our culture spends so much time teaching women how to change their bodies,” she said. “God wants to transform our hearts. Real freedom comes when our identity is anchored in Christ instead of our reflection in the mirror.”
McCall credits her faith, along with the encouragement of her husband and growing family, for inspiring both her writing and her ministry. While writing Hello Peace, she learned that vulnerability is not a weakness but an act of obedience.
“One of the greatest challenges was having the courage to share the parts of my story that are still tender,” she said. “But I’ve learned that God often uses the places where we’ve experienced healing to help bring healing to others.”
When asked what advice she would give aspiring authors, McCall offers simple but powerful encouragement.
“Just begin,” she said. “I never started journaling because I planned to write a book. I simply had something on my heart and followed where God was leading. If you feel even the slightest nudge to write, take that first step and stay open to what God might do with your story.”
Whether readers are navigating pregnancy, motherhood, body image struggles, or simply searching for a deeper understanding of their identity in Christ, Hello Peace reminds them that peace is not found by striving harder but by surrendering fully to the One who created them.ABOUT LUCID BOOKS
