Level Up Your May: Celebrate National Physical Fitness Month

    The Gym

Back in 1983, the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition—let’s just call it the PCSFN because that title is a serious mouthful—designated May as National Physical Fitness and Sports Month. But what is this council actually after? Essentially, they are a federal advisory team on a mission to promote healthy eating and active living for every American, regardless of background or ability. Their goal is simple: help us all boost our quality of life through better habits

Honestly? We are all on board with that! After the rollercoaster of the last few years, we’ve all realized just how precious our health really is. A “quality of life” upgrade sounds like exactly what the doctor ordered. With National Fitness Day landing on May 7th, there is no better time to hit the reset button on your physical wellness

So, how do you actually make it happen? It comes down to two main pillars: fueling your body correctly and moving with purpose

That is exactly where The Gym comes in. If you are looking to overhaul your plate, we offer professional nutrition counseling and diet coaching to fuel your fitness journey. As for the “getting fit” part? Nate and his dedicated crew are ready, willing, and able to get you moving. We feature a lineup of classes led by expert, enthusiastic instructors who make working out the best part of your day

Our trainers are always on hand to build you a custom plan and show you how to master our brand-new, state-of-the-art equipment. Come on in this May and see how we can help you crush your goals!
