An organization that helps job seekers find the perfect fit is hosting a healthcare job fair in Gresham
The Workm location, 18633 S.E. Stark St. Those who attend will be able to talk with multiple employers about a variety of entry-level positions. That includes certified nursing assistants, caregivers, direct support professionals, and other similar occupations
The event is free to attend and open to the public. Job seekers should bring multiple copies of their resumes and be prepared to discuss their skills with employers
“This is a chance to meet employers face to face and discover how to make a positive impact in (your) communities,” said Jim Pfarrer, director of workforce operations with the Oregon Employment Department. “We encourage anyone curious about a career in health care to show up excited to share their strengths and ready to explore the many paths available in this important field.”
