U.S. Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Bryce Ryan, a hospital corpsman with 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, provides care to a simulated casualty during a medical training exercise on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA, August 27, 2026. Sailors participated in multiple simulated casualty scenarios to receive their Role 2 medical certification. This certification helps ensure that 1st MLG medical personnel can transition from basic point-of-injury care to organized, higher-level stabilization and treatment of casualties while deployed.
