Cranbourne’s Amstel Club has been recognised for its community wellbeing and inclusion programs, winning the Metro 2025–2026 Mental and Social Wellbeing Award at the Community Clubs Victoria Awards

It is the second time in three years the Cranbourne club has received the award, which recognises initiatives supporting mental wellbeing, accessibility, inclusion and community connection

A key program is Every One Café, a community training café that gives participants experience in a working hospitality environment while helping them build confidence, workplace skills and pathways towards employment

The café is open to the public at Amstel Club from 10am to 11.30am every Thursday and Friday, with money raised donated to the SES Cranbourne Unit

The SES unit congratulated the club, describing the award as “fantastic recognition” of a program providing invaluable experience to community members

Amstel Club also works with Ranfurlie Golf Club and Driving Range to provide employment pathways and free monthly all-abilities golf clinics led by a PGA professional

Amstel Group head of communications, community and inclusion Jo Muir said receiving the award for a second time was particularly meaningful

“Every One Café and our all-abilities programs are about creating confidence, connection and real opportunities for people to be seen, supported and included,” she said

City of Casey Quarters Ward Cr Carolyn Eaves, a regular visitor to the café, also congratulated the team and praised the program’s contribution to inclusion and confidence-building

Amstel Club said the award recognised the efforts of staff, volunteers, participants, families, members and community partners
