The new measures include the development of the Dubai Government Employee Wellbeing Index in partnership with the Dubai Health Authority, the introduction of a Financial Wellbeing Initiative and the enhancement of flexible work systems

The initiatives were shaped by a comprehensive study conducted by DGHR to establish a unified framework for employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle

The employee wellbeing index will serve as a data-driven tool to assess wellbeing levels, identify the factors influencing employee wellbeing and help government entities develop and evaluate targeted programmes

The financial wellbeing initiative will focus on improving financial literacy among government employees and equipping them with the skills needed to manage their finances more effectively, with the aim of supporting long-term financial stability

Meanwhile, the flexible work initiative will review and update existing policies to align them with international best practices.

DGHR said the initiative is designed to create a better balance between organisational requirements and employee expectations while improving productivity, institutional agility and business continuity

The study also led to the creation of a unified employee experience framework that integrates organisational culture, leadership, human re

DGHR said the framework will strengthen talent attraction and retention while fostering higher levels of employee engagement across Dubai’s government sector
