IntrospeXion expands UAE footprint with new workplace <a href="https://healthylife7.com/feeling-hot-and-bothered-exploring-the-link-between-hormones-and-mental-health/” title=”Feeling hot and bothered? The initiative aims to reduce psychological risks, prevent burnout and improve workforce performance in high-pressure operating environments

Psychological consultancy IntrospeXion has secured a new contract with a major UAE-based energy operator to deliver a company-wide mental health and wellbeing programme designed to support employees working across office, remote and offshore environments

The initiative reflects a growing recognition within the energy industry that workplace health and safety strategies must extend beyond physical safety to include psychological wellbeing and mental health

Under the agreement, IntrospeXion will work with the operator’s leadership team to develop and implement a tailored psychological wellbeing strategy that addresses the unique demands of the energy sector while strengthening workforce resilience, leadership capabilities and psychological safety

The programme will include psychological profiling, executive coaching, workplace mental health planning, psychological risk assessments, wellbeing workshops, confidential employee support services, critical incident response and specialist consultancy

According to the company, the programme will be adapted to meet the needs of both office-based employees and field workers across the UAE. The initiative aims to reduce psychological risks, prevent burnout and improve workforce performance in high-pressure operating environments

The partnership marks another step in IntrospeXion’s regional expansion strategy. Earlier this year, the consultancy, led by founder and chief executive Shabnum Hanif, established operations in the UAE to strengthen its presence in the Middle East

The company has since expanded its local team by appointing Mharc Alonso to an operations support role and establishing a regional base in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi

Commenting on the partnership, Hanif said the energy sector is increasingly recognising the importance of integrating psychological safety into broader workplace health strategies

“The energy sector has long recognised the importance of protecting physical safety, and we’re now seeing forward-thinking organisations place the same strategic focus on psychological safety and wellbeing,” she said

Hanif added that workplace mental health initiatives should focus not only on preventing psychological harm but also on helping employees and organisations perform more effectively

Founded on the principles of clinical psychology and industry leadership, IntrospeXion specialises in behavioural risk management, psychological safety and workplace wellbeing. The consultancy provides services ranging from emergency psychological support and organisational culture assessments to leadership coaching, neurodiversity programmes and offshore mental health interventions

This collaboration highlights the growing emphasis among UAE employers on employee wellbeing and the increasing adoption of mental health programmes across high-risk industries
