Free HOPE training in Monroe County focuses on child well-being

The Child Advocacy Network of Monroe County will host a free HOPE training session from 12:30 to 2 p.m. July 31 at Monroe Community Credit Union, 715 N. Telegraph Road, Monroe

How can Californians use the public health tool?”>health care professionals, social workers, first responders, community organizations, parents and others interested in supporting children and families, according to a community announcement
HOPE, which stands for Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences, is a research-informed framework focused on positive experiences that can help children develop into healthy and resilient adults
Participants will learn about research related to positive childhood experiences and explore strategies aimed at strengthening families and supporting child well-being. Organizers said in the announcement that the training is sponsored by the Substance Abuse Coalition of Monroe County
Registration is required and seating is limited. Light refreshments will be available for attendees
