For the Tomahawk Leader
LINCOLN COUNTY – Those who live and work in Lincoln County are invited to prioritize their health this August by joining the community-wide “Healthy Lifestyles Passport” challenge, coordinated by the Lincoln County Health Department (LCHD), with support from Aspirus Health
LCHD in a release explained that the challenge encourages simple activities that focus on healthier eating and increased physical activity – key components of overall health and well-being
“Participants are encouraged to continue these activities beyond the challenge to build lifelong healthy habits for themselves and their families,” LCHD said
To join the passport challenge, print or pick up a passport challenge form at LCHD or at various locations around Lincoln County. The form has also been published in this week’s issue of the Tomahawk Leader, as well as the Merrill Foto News
Participants who complete 25 points worth of self-selected activities from the challenge form during the month of August will receive a $10 Chamber of Commerce gift certificate. Gift certificates are available to the first 150 participants, and one gift certificate is available per family
Completed forms must be returned by Friday, Sept. 11 to receive a gift certificate
Drop off locations are as follows:
- LCHD, 607 N. Sales St., Ste. 101, Merrill, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. LCHD will remain open until 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2 and Wednesday, Sept. 9 for drop-off purposes only.
