Sohail Khan’s noticeably slimmer appearance has become a topic of discussion online, with social media users speculating about the reason behind his weight loss.The 55-year-old actor has now addressed the speculation, attributing much of his physical transformation to his experience on The Alliance, where he participated as a wildcard contestant.
Sohail Khan Opens Up About His Reality Show Experience
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sohail spoke about adjusting to life inside the reality show. As his first experience with reality television, spending time inside the house initially proved challenging.He revealed that the unfamiliar environment made him feel “a bit claustrophobic” during the first few days. His situation became more difficult when he developed a stomach infection during the first week.“A stomach bug added to that in the first week itself of entering the house,” Sohail said.
Actor Stayed On The Show Despite Falling Ill
Despite becoming unwell early in his stint, Sohail continued participating in the reality show for five weeks. He said the support and affection from his fellow contestants encouraged him to stay despite his health struggles.“I must tell you, the love and concern, not only about my health, but at any given time by contestants, made me stay in for five weeks, though I was unwell in the first itself,” he added.
Health Issues Changed His Approach To Food
The stomach infection also made Sohail more conscious of his eating habits. Instead of allowing the illness to affect his participation, he focused on managing his diet and maintaining enough fitness to take part in the show’s challenges.
Sohail Denies Using Ozempic Or Fat Burners
Addressing the speculation surrounding his weight loss, Sohail directly denied using Ozempic or fat-burning supplements. “So no Ozempic, no fat burners, I’m only taking pure and loads of love and affection from everyone,” he said.
Salman Khan Had Earlier Revealed His Weight Loss
Sohail’s weight loss had previously become a talking point on The Alliance when his brother, Salman Khan, appeared on the show to support him. During the appearance, Salman revealed that Sohail had already lost 12 kg.The discussion around his transformation resurfaced after pictures and videos from a reality-show party featuring the actor circulated online.[With TOI inputs]Add
