Platform will help advance stroke care throughout the Ministry

    Summary

    • OSF HealthCare is expanding use of RapidAI, software that can quickly analyze images and determine if a person with a suspected stroke needs a clot-busting drug or surgery.
    • The technology helps clinicians analyze medical images, identify stroke conditions and coordinate treatment, building on improvements seen at select OSF sites.
    • Expansion will extend AI capabilities to physicians across the Ministry while supporting consistent, connected care throughout the OSF system.

    “

After seeing how RapidAI supported clinical decisions and patient care at select sites, we saw the opportunity to add more AI solutions to the platform and extend that value across all hospitals, strengthening access to specialty expertise and helping us deliver high-quality, consistent care at every level of our health system
