Amy Schumer is embracing every part of her body
The 45-year-old comedian showed off her ongoing weight loss through a selfie shared on her Instagram Stories on Friday, July 10
Posing in a cream-colored bikini, Schumer also highlighted her C-section scar. “C section peaking out saying yeah I’m a warrior,” Schumer wrote over the snapshot

The Trainwreck star welcomed a son, Gene Atell, with ex-husband Chris Fischer in May 2019. Schumer suffered through a challenging pregnancy and a difficult C-section.
“I was throwing up through the first hour of my c-section. It’s supposed to take about an hour and a half — mine took over three hours because of my endometriosis,” she explained on an episode of the Informed Pregnancy and Parenting Podcast later that December. “That was really scary.”
“I had a fresh c-section, which had complications, [but] I was just so happy,” she continued. “I mean, other than just having a baby, which a couple of people told me the day you give birth is the best day of your life, and that was true for me, but that relief.”
Schumer has since been transparent about her health and weight loss journey, which has consisted of the actress undergoing liposuction in 2022, beginning and quitting the GLP-1 Wegovy for weight loss, as well as pursuing an overall healthier lifestyle.
“Pics of yourself when you’re finally feeling strong and beautiful are not a cry for help,” she previously wrote alongside a carousel of photoshoot photos. “They are a celebration of life and health. Love to the single moms out there.”

“I had a disease that makes your face extremely puffy that can kill you, but the internet caught it, and the disease has cleared,” she wrote on Instagram, seemingly referring to her Cushing syndrome diagnosis. “Sorry for whatever feeling it’s giving you that I lost that weight. Sorry to anyone thats let down.”
Cushing syndrome is a condition where the body has too much cortisol, the primary stress hormone, per the Mayo Clinic. In addition to developing a rounder face from weight gain, some of the other symptoms include high blood pressure and increased stretch marks
