Since we started ourrecords database, we have tracked countless additions to program record books, and 2026 added a substantial number of them. In this Data Deep Dive, we highlight a few gymnasts who truly left their mark on their school’s gymnastics history this season

    Maggie Slife (Air Force)

It would be hard to overstate what a historic year Slife has had. Over the course of the season, the junior either surpassed or matched her school’s records on every event except floor, en route to setting the four new highest unique all-around scores in Air Force history. Slife’s all-around dominance this season helped her team to its first regionals appearance since 2002, punched her ticket to Fort Worth as the team’s first-ever individual nationals qualifier, and rightfully earned her a spot among the most record-breaking gymnasts of the year.

    Morgan Price (Arkansas)

Price made the most of her senior season at Arkansas, making her mark on the program despite only having one year with the team. Most notably, the transfer recorded the Razorbacks’ first 10.0 on vault, thereby joining Mara Titarsolej and Selena Harris-Miranda as the only gymnasts to achieve a 10.0 at two different schools. Price also tied the program record of 9.975 on bars twice in 2026

    Ome Ellis (UW-Oshkosh)

In her freshman year, Ellis made an immediate impact on the Tigers, featuring in lineups on three events across several meets throughout the season. Her contributions were highlighted by setting a new school record of 9.925 on beam–a full tenth higher than the team’s top score coming into the 2026 season, the highest individual event score in Oshkosh’s history, and the highest score by a D3 gymnast on any event this year. Her score earned her the WIAC beam title and helped her team to both a new school record of 49.125 on the event and the championship title.

    Lindsey Yang (Brown)

Also on beam, Yang set a new personal best of 9.925 back in January. Of all the gymnasts who set or matched program highs last season, her school record-tying performance broke the longest drought–the score had not been achieved by any Brown gymnast since it was first set in February 2001, more than 9000 days earlier

    Kailin Chio (LSU)

Chio’s appearance on this list should come as no surprise, considering she notched 13 10.0s across three events last season. Not only were her five vault 10.0s and five beam 10.0s the highest number of 10.0s on the respective events by any gymnast in 2026, her tally of 13 was also the highest in a single season in LSU history–an impressive feat considering the program’s storied history
