Levi Solicitors has signed up to the West Yorkshire Fair Work Charter, reinforcing its commitment to creating a workplace where employees feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed
Launched by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, the Charter encourages employers to adopt and continually improve fair working practices, with a focus on five key principles: Opportunity, Fulfilment, Wellbeing, Security and Employee Voice
For Levi Solicitors, joining the Charter is a natural step in its ongoing efforts to support the wellbeing and development of its people
The firm already has a range of initiatives in place to support colleagues, including trained Mental Health First Aiders, flexible working arrangements and wellbeing-focused programmes. Around 25% of employees have been with the firm for ten years or more, reflecting its focus on building a positive and supportive workplace culture
Practice Manager Janet Babington, who is also a trained Mental Health First Aider, said:
“I think that for me, it is about recognising that our people are our greatest asset. By committing to the principles of fair work, wellbeing, and listening to our employees we can continue to build a positive workplace culture where staff feel valued, supported and empowered to thrive
I know that investing in our teams helps improve wellbeing, engagement and retention, and this leads to us being able to strengthen the services we provide to our clients.”
As well as signing up to the Fair Work Charter, Levi Solicitors holds a number of recognised accreditations and memberships that demonstrate its commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace. These include the Lexcel accreditation, Mindful Employer status, and recognition as an Age Friendly Employer. In December 2025, the firm was also named Leeds Mindful Employer Network’s Mindful Employer of the Quarter
The Charter provides members with access to re employers continue developing fair and effective workplace practices
